Benjamin was raised in Jacksonville and was a friendly, engaging, and outgoing man. Ben loved dogs, collecting precious and semi-precious stones, music, and sports cars. In high school at Bishop Kenny, he lettered in Cross Country and was also president of the Interact Club. After graduation from BK in 2009, he continued his studies at the University of North Florida. He Graduated from UNF in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in communications.
During college, Ben worked at the Banfield Pet Clinic where he combined his love for dogs with the friendship of his coworkers. After college Ben worked in a variety of roles with an array of companies. Following brain surgery in the spring of 2023, his former coworkers welcomed him back to Banfield where he was provided a lighter work schedule while he continued to heal.
His family and friends remember him as a bright light in a regular world.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Benjamin on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Hardage-Giddens Mandarin, 11801 San Jose Blvd., Jacksonville, FL, with a reception to immediately follow.
