Benji Piechoczek

Benjamin Bolek Piechoczek, known lovingly as Benji, 19, of St. Johns passed away on May 12, 2016. Benji possessed an exquisite ability to put a smile on anyone’s face. His friends and family knew that Benji was always ready with a joke, constantly sharing his gift of comedy. He had a love of computers and technology, hosting computer parties and helping out fumbly old timers. Benjamin shared his love of food with marching bandmates, cooking Polish cuisine for them. He even made an occasional profit from his homemade beef jerky sales. Hence, Benji appropriately went on to study Business Administration at the University of Central Florida. Benji will be remembered simply as kind. His altruism knew no bounds, consistently patient and giving, helping anyone in need.

Benjamin is survived by his parents Szczepan and Ludwika; his siblings, Julianna, Dominik, Monika, and Barbara; his nieces and nephew Viktoria, Raymond, and Hanna.

Visitations will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Monday, May 16, 2016 and Tuesday, May 17, 2016 in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 in San Juan Del Rio Catholic Church, 1718 SR 13, St. Johns, FL. Burial will be thereafter at Greenlawn Cemetery, 4300 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL.
