Bernadette Ferrizzi

Bernadette gained her wings on June 29th, 2018. She was TRULY one of God’s most beautiful people who would light up any room with her beautiful smile and contagious laugh.Bernadette loved working with children and was a volunteer/tutor at many local catholic schools in Jacksonville. She was a FAITHFUL member of Family for Life and gave so much of herself to so many that found themselves in times of hardships and struggles. She never wanted any family or child to do without.She was a loving and devoted mother, wife, NaNa, sister & friend who always put her family first. She is preceded in death by her parents, Stella & Joe O’Brien. Survivors include her adoring husband of 55 years, Butch; devoted daughter, Tina (Mark); loving sons, Anthony & Chris; grandchildren, Amanda (Jacob), Noah, Ian, Blake, Stephanie & Charles; great-grandchildren, Chloe & Joshua; brother, Joe O’Brien; as well as many nieces, nephews, family & friends.

Both Visitation and Funeral will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church, 742 Arlington Rd N, Jacksonville, FL 32211. Visitation will be held on July 12th from 6:30 – 8:30 pm with a Rosary at 7:30 pm. Funeral Mass will be held on July 13th at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Arlington Park Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her honor to Guardian Catholic School Scholarship fund.Arrangements being handled by Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32211
