

Born in Long Branch, NJ, Mrs. Carr was a lifelong resident of West Orange, NJ before moving to Jacksonville in 2010.
She was pre-deceased by her husband Michael T. Carr and her son Michael J. Carr Jr.
She is survived by her son Thomas and his wife Kathleen Carr of West Orange, NJ, her son Daniel and his wife Karen Carr of Jacksonville, FL, and her daughter Deborah Carr and her husband Thomas Carlson, of Succasunna, NJ.
She is survived by her grandchildren Katharine Carr, Lindsey Carr Quaglia, Patrick Carr, Michael Carr, Skyler Carlson, Kayla Carr and Alina Carlson and great-granddaughter Gianna Quaglia.
She was pre-deceased by her brother Albert Hyers and her sisters Grace Province and Rose Marie Sherwood. She is survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
After her husband’s passing, Mrs. Carr was a business woman for the family-owned corporations Carr Pontiac and Village Buick of South Orange, NJ. She was also a homemaker, a gourmet cook and a devoted mother to her beloved cat Nicole.
Along with her husband she was involved in the Antique Car Club of America, the Classic Car Club of America and the Antique and Classic Boat Society. They enjoyed boating; spending summers at Lake Hopatcong, NJ and Point Pleasant, NJ for many years. She enjoyed antiquing, decorating, indoor gardening, bird watching and traveling.
A memorial service will held on January 24, 2016 at 2pm in the Beau Rivage Condominiums, River Room, 2970 Saint Johns Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
