Betty J. Cowart

Bettie Jean "Mary" Cowart, Jacksonville, born December 22, 1930, passed away on May 15th, 2011, at 80 years of age. She was married to Edgar "Eddie" Cowart, deceased.

Mary was an avid Gator Fan and loved going to the Gator Football games with her family. She also enjoyed playing Bingo, going to Las Vegas and Universal Studios.

Survived by her two children; son, Jody Cowart; daughter, Bettie Jean Samford ; six grand-children and eleven great-grand children. Her dog "Patty" was always by her side.

She was preceded in death by her husband Edgar "Eddie" Cowart; son, Billy Cowart; grandson Wesley Cowart.

Funeral Services will held Friday, May 20th, 2011 at 11am at the Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home on Main Street.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 19th, 2011 , 6 - 8 pm at the Funeral Home also.
