

Betty was born on February 1, 1932 in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky. After marrying into the military life, she lived both overseas and many places in the United States, finally settling in Jacksonville.
Betty was greeted into eternity by Carl “Buzz” Crow, daughters Claudia Berry and Deborah Mailey, granddaughter Kara, her parents William and Hattie House, brothers Joe House and Billy House, sister Bertha Strode and Papa John Mimbs.

Betty is survived by her daughter Jackie (Bill) Hardy, sons-in-law Richard Berry and Robert Mailey; grandchildren Sandra (Adam) Rogers of Jacksonville, Kimberly (Quinton) McDaniel of Wesley Chapel, FL, Jake (Erica) Segers of Jacksonville, Chris Mondia (Rebecka) of Celo, NC, Mandy Hardy of Jacksonville, Lisa (Taw) North of Eustis, Joshua Hardy (Melanie) of Englewood, CO, Mason Segers of Jacksonville, Jenny Berry of St. Augustine and Sophie Berry of St. Augustine. Great grandchildren include Alexis (Justin), Isabella, Liam, Kara, Lainey (Stephan), Morgan, Aidan, Will, Allie, Natalie, Jordan (Chris) and Calani. Great-Great Grandchildren include Samson, Ariana, Trent and Seven.
Burial Services will be conducted at 1:00 pm, March 25, 2026 at Greenlawn Cemetery, 4300 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207 Rev Wes Slough.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Betty (Nanny) at 1:00 pm, May 2, 2026 at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 11801 San Jose Blvd Jacksonville, FL 32223. Rev Wes Slough will officiate.
