Betty Jo Goff, age 77, passed away peacefully at Baptist South Hospital in Jacksonville, surrounded by her family on Tuesday, June 27. She was born on December 11, 1939 in Georgia to Eva Ray Odum and Joseph Mashaum Odum. Betty spent the majority of her life in Jacksonville with her beloved four children and late husband Edsel Ford Goff.
Betty was a loving sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be remembered for her bright blue eyes, unconditional love and her glowing spirit of pure happiness among family.
She was a devoted employee of King Edwards for nearly 30 years until she retired to spend more time with her adored seven grandchildren.
She is survived by her four children, Debbie, Dorothy (Ross), Edsel Jr., Doris (Bill); seven grandchildren, Terry (Jana), Tammy, Mallory (Richard), Michael, Miranda, Kalie, Kelton; two great grandchildren, Korben and Harper; two brothers, Donald (Garnet), Ray, and one sister Kathleen; as well as many nieces and nephews.
