Bonnie D. Godbold

Bonnie Henderson Godbold passed away in the early hours of Sunday, July 17, 2011 in her home in Jacksonville, Florida. She is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth, her daughters, Denise, Sheri, and Jaime, her older sister Kay, and her grandchildren, Kayla, Anna, Andrew, and Nicholas.

Preceding her in death is her father (Henry Charles Henderson), her son (Kenneth Eugene Godbold II), her sister (Maxine Lopez), and her mother (Maxine McClure Henderson).

Bonnie was born in Lawrenceville, Illinois on September 18, 1953 to Henry Charles and Maxine Henderson. She moved to Jacksonville with her family in 1955. In 1971, she graduated from Robert E. Lee High School.

After graduating, she started her career journey at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida in January 1972. Less than a year, she married the love of her life in August of 1972.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests all donations are sent to Ana’s Angels Pet Rescue.
