Charles served in the United States Air Force for over eight and a half years and eventually retired as the I.T. Director of Beaver Street Fisheries, Inc.
He loved spending time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed cooking, entertaining with his wife along with helping her with her charity work for Wolfson's Children's Hospital and preparing for her craft shows. As a licensed operator, he liked talking on his Ham Radio. He was admired for his wisdom and guidance and freely gave to anyone who asked. He was a kind friend to all.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Hardage-Giddens Funeral home, 11801 San Jose Boulevard, Jacksonville, Florida, 32223.
The funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, March 10, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
A private burial will take place at The Jacksonville National Cemetery.
