Charles Franklin Kent, Jr., passed away on Monday, June 4th, 2018 at his home. Chuck was born on August 22, 1963 in Jacksonville, FL. Chuck attended Mandarin United Methodist Church each week with Golda, his service dog, by his side. He was a specialist in Turf and Ornamental Plants and a certified Arborist. His home always reflected his love for plants by his beautiful yard. Chuck was well known in the industry. Chuck was employed for most of his career with Bug Out Service in Jacksonville, FL. The people he worked for and with became his family. In addition to his love of his profession and plants, he loved classic cars, watching the sport of racing and walking his dogs on the beach. He loved attending the Concours d'Elegance at Amelia Island every year.
Chuck loved his service dog, Golda, who was by his side day and night. Thanks to his very good friend, Stephen Ferrell, Golda now has a new "forever" home and is adjusting to her new life.
We will gather to celebrate Chuck's life and love for cars at the new Art 'n Motion building at 283 San Marco Blvd, St Augustine, FL on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at 3:00 in the afternoon. Please join us as we share stories and our love for Chuck.
