Charles served in the United States Army stationed at Fort Braggs, NC in the 82nd Airborne Division. He Also Served in the National Guard in the 124th Infantry Division. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Marroco Temple Shrine. He worked in the Insurance Industry for all of his working career.
Charles is predeceased by his parents Elmer and Josephine Pearson, His wife Josephine "Jo" Pearson and son Donald E Pearson Sr.
He is survived by his son Charles E Pearson Jr., Daughter Dorean K Hicks (Rob).
Grandchildren Donald E Pearson Jr. (Amy), Sonya Johnson (Charles), Christina Harnage (Mallory), Melissa Breslend (Bryan). Plus many great and great great grandchildren.
A visitation for Charles will be held Monday, January 30, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Hardage - Giddens Greenlawn Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4300 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207. Following the visitation will be a graveside service from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Greenlawn Cemetery, 4300 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207.
