Charles was one of those rare people you would meet these days. Kind and thoughtful willing to do anything for you and wouldn't let you leave his sight without putting a smile on your face. But when you saw Charles you just lit up automatically! That's the spirit that he possessed. Our thoughts and prayers are with the late Charles Watts family. Your H-G family is hurting too. You will be missed by so many. Angel on earth and in heaven. :(

It's been over a week since Chuckie's death, and I am still mourning his loss.  It hurts to go down to Park St., remember his patience and kindness in training me and all the fun we had, and he's not there.  He was the heart and soul of Park St. and put all of his effort into his work.  He always had kind words and was full of energy.  Charles, you may be gone, but you will live on in the hearts of all the people you've touched.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

  I've only known Chuck for a few months since coming to work at Hardage-Giddens, but he touched my life in a  profound way. He always had a smile on his face & words of encouragement for me. I appreciate his passion for what he did. He touched so many lives in the short amount of time that God loaned him to us. Hardage-Giddens is poorer because of his loss, but our lives are richer because of the opportunity to know & work with such a fine person. I am thankful for the years I knew Charles, he was what I truly believe God intended for a Christian to be, loving, kind, hepful, dutiful, faithful and fun.

Charles and I walked and travled different paths. But there is an old cliche' that says, "God works in mysterious ways" and I find it to be so very true. We were born in the same city, same year, but different sides of the track. God brought us together in his own way and time. Charles was my Brother in Christ. I'll always remember Charles as one of the "good guys".

Never a day that he didn't smile, laugh, cut-up and joke with us. Never a day that he didn't bid us to "be safe out there". Never a day that he didn't give somebody kind words of wisdom and encouragement. Charles carried himself with such passion and integrity, that he inspired us all. You will be missed greatly, but you will remain forever in our hearts and memories.

Charles was a terrific man!  He was a most appreciated member of the American Diabetes Associations' Step Out Walk Committee ... but more than that was a great friend.

I will miss Mr. Chuck and the smiles he brought to all of us when he entered the room.

Sir Charles will always have a special place in my heart.  I would greet him with "Sir Charles" and Charles would beam because I always told him he had the heart of a lion and his integrity was legendary.  A kind and gentle person with a good word for everyone he knew, Sir Charles will be missed and his memory will live in the heart and soul of all his colleagues.
