

Charles W. “Chuck” Watts, 51, passed away May 3, 2010 in Jacksonville, FL. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida on September 3, 1958. Charles and his family moved back to the Jacksonville area in 1999 from Conroe, Texas. He was a member of First Coast Church of Christ where he helped with Vacation Bible School. He was a member of the American Diabetes Association, a volunteer firefighter, Willis Band Booster, and a member of the Florida Funeral Directors Association. He was employed with Hardage-Giddens Funeral Homes as an Embalmer Supervisor. He was preceded in death by his parents: Woodrow Wilson & Annie Ruth Watts; brother: Donald Barry Watts; and “Daughter” Candace. He is survived by his Wife: Joann and daughter: Jennifer Watts both of Jacksonville; and “Daughter” Elizebeth; Brothers: Larry (Debbie) Watts of Atlanta, Ga.; Bill (Kathy) Watts of Callahan; Paul (Michelle) Watts of Jacksonville; Sister: Ellen Watts Vasquez of Callahan; Nephews: Stephen, Benji, Bill (Wendy), Sean, and Luke; Nieces: Susan, Jamie (Chris), Anna, and Caitlyn; and numerous friends. Visitation today Thursday, May 6, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Hardage-Giddens Edgewood Funeral Home-729 Edgewood Avenue, Jacksonville, Florida 32205.
