Colin was a part of our idyllic teenage years in Jamaica going to movies, parties and baking to a crisp for hours on the beach. Such fun times and great memories!

We were all very sad to hear of Colin’s passing and send our heartfelt sympathies to the entire family.  Hold fast to the memories and find comfort in knowing that he will live on in your hearts forever.
Remembering fondly our times at the Stainton Drive condo and his many attempts to teach some of us girls to swim.   He assured us that with his lifeguard background he would have us swimming in no time.   We were more of a challenge than he thought.   Colin finally gave up on teaching us to swim but that didn’t stop us from spending many a weekends just having fun in the pool.

Dear Joan and Family,

We have so many happy memories of Colin.
We often talk about the wonderful times we had as teenagers with Colin, Jim and Teddy driving us around to parties, movies etc and also to Bowden for the famous "Soup".
Unfortunately we lost touch when he left Canada, but never forgot him and would ask Don for updates.
He might have been out of sight, but not out of mind.
Hope the family will find comfort with the wonderful memories he has left behind.
May he Rest in Peace.

While sharing in your sadness, as you remember Colin, I remember him as a highly principled young man of integrity, and honor, one who was devoted to his family and was a friend for life. 
Colin was a special person who will never be forgotten. 



We were very saddened to hear of the passing of our dear "calm" nephew Colin, and  send our deepest sympathy to Liz and family, as well as to Junior, Sue, Benny, Joan, Andy and Nicky.   

We are so sorry that we are  unable to come to Florida  to be with you at this time, and especially tomorrow, at his "farewell celebration."   We will be thinking of you, as we share in your loss.

Colin was special and will always be remembered as a devoted, caring, loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend.    Colin is at peace now, he lived a good life.  We will all miss him but we will not forget him.   

He is on the "other side" now where he is  getting the big "welcome"   by his parents, grandparents and other relatives.

Colin was a great friend and we made many wonderful memories hanging out together fishing and hunting  that we will always cherish. The world is a dimmer place without his light and he will be greatly missed.

My memories of Colin,
I remember summer holidays when we would spend days with our cousins at Aunt Mays & Uncle Charles' shop. It meant eating guineps, sometimes going swimming to Mineral Baths,running races outside on the wide sidewalk  when we tired we would go to the skittles room . To play you had to put money in the machine, but Colin said we didn't have to pay we were to crawl under the table & use  your back to push up the table & it would release the balls. So thats what we did. I had never played skittles before & I cant recall ever playing again but Colin we enjoyed playing it was so much fun. Thank  you for those wonderful memories. R.I.P.

Colin was a huge part of our teenage years just hanging around enjoying our laid back JA summers.  It’s hard to believe that Colin is no longer here with us, but I’ll always have fun happy memories.  I’m so glad to have reconnected over the past few years.  I spoke with Colin about a month ago, and he was just the same cool dude he always was from those teenage years.  And while I know he was quite weak, you’d never know it as he was so upbeat, strong and courageous.  My friend Colin ... thanks for the memories and Rest In Peace.  You were and always will be ... cool dude Bernardo Danger.  My condolences to the Tenn Yuk family.  We lost one of the best.

Jnr (Charles) and I have so many fond memories of Colin. 
 It amazed me how he would take the long 6 hr. drive from Jacksonville to Miami just to visit Mom and Dad and his siblings & families.    It meant love and family.    Over 30 years ago, he would come with Liz, little Amanda & his 2 beloved dogs.  Then as the years went by it was a teenage Amanda and his 2 dogs.  Then in the last 15 years, nothing would stop him, he would still visit alone with his dogs just to be with us at dim sum, Jamaican dinners  at Nicky and Karyn’s and request my cassava pudding!  Considering it’s not so great for his diabetes !

The thought struck me one time that out of all the 4 brothers, he seems calmer, quieter and not as loud mouth like the others (including my hubby)! Lol 😆  hopefully I was not wrong!

Jnr, & I, Darren, Phillip & families will surely miss his visits!  We love you so much, Rest In Peace. 🙏🏻


Colin I am glad we talked and caught up. I truly miss and relish our shooting trips in Miami. Godspeed my friend. 

Mr. Colin, my life would have been the poorer had we not cross path. You epitomized the true meaning of humility, a man of patience ,kindness and an infectious smile that brought tranquility among those who had the privilege of meeting you. I have know Colin and Liz since the 80”s and seen them at the start of their relationship. I know Colin is an amazing man that that loves his family and friends and will be greatly missed by many.

Our faith tells us that we ought not to question God’s doing so we accept that you are gone, and we pray for the strength to endure our feeling of sadness and loss.

We will always keep our fond memories of you alive in our thoughts, especially your sense of humour. I still remember a specific joke we shared at our Family Reunion, and to this day I burst out laughing whenever I think of it!  

“Whappen Judy Lee?” was your signature greeting whenever we spoke, and laughter was a big part of our conversations.  

Mao remembers the days of off track betting when you would post your selections on the blackboard under the caption “Bernado’s Tips” - the horses usually ran to form!

To Junior, Sue, Benny, Jo, Andy, Nicky and Liz, Mao and I cannot physically be there to support you but we are with you in thought and prayer every step of the way.

Colin... remembering the good time we had growing up from Blake's Prep and graduating together from STGC... Remember the time we went to Duckenfield to visit Uncle Aloy Shuk.. and the train tracks ran behind the shop  going to the sugar refinery... we gather some coconut branches and lay it across the tracks to stop the train!!! we were going to hijack the train!! But unfortunately, we were very tired and fell asleep and the train came by and pushed the branches off the track... Another time when we were in boy's scout and did an outing to Papine.. it rained very heavily that weekend and the river overflowed its banks...  ... we almost drowned... Colin.. you was one of my favorite cuz.. and we last spoke 5 weeks ago and as usual.. very upbeat and hanging in there bredda. Love you Colin... Peace be with you... Love .. Johnny.

So many many great memories ..I was joined to Your hip growing up. We did so many things together. From picking me up at school, swimming Cross the Harbour together , taking me to meet all your friends , taking me to parties and even when you didn’t , you waited up for me to get home to let me in after Mommy and Daddy were asleep. We travelled to ‘foreign ‘ together., Sunday drives in your MGB GT . ....too many to mention them all. 

No matter how the years went by we always had that bond. You even came on one of my honeymoon trips. What fun we had in Mexico! 

A wonderful caring loving brother , friend advisor , and a great uncle to Ashley . 

Rest in Eternal Peace Col. I know you are Happy and Free now. Back in the arms of Mommy and Daddy. I will always remember your love and kindness and will always admire your strength and courage. Love you and will miss you . 🙏🙏🙏

Colin, no words can describe our loss.  We were seven, now we are six.  I can remember all the good times when you use to take me to school and I was so proud of my handsome brother taking me to High School, taking trips to Miami and eating at our favorite Chinese Restaurant, Susanne’s and shopping downtown Flagler Street.  You and Joan were the first ones that took me to see a live band, and I use to look forward to all those Sunday trips to ride Shetland ponies and of course the three of us driving in your MGB over the causeway to go to the farm. Monty and I will miss all those telephone conversations about what we are eating and doing.   Col, rememberwe were Mommy’s favorites 😉. I am so glad I was able to see you and tell you how much we all love you.  You will be dearly missed, but we know you are at peace and free.  Col, heaven has a new guardian angel and it’s you.  Rest In Peace brother.  One day we will be all reunited.

to... chucks, doc, sue .jo,andy. nicky. liz. amanda and all his friends and loved ones ..im in tears right now...i loved colin so much...he was not only my favourite cousin but buddy and friend.i have to tell you about some of the precious times i had with dear col.....my memories of pure joy go back to the days when we snatched him from bowden to spend the summer with me...those were times i could never forget..it was uncle neville mom and me...unc neville  droved to bowden and ..mom  pleaded with aunt may may..please mek him come to town wid us..i loved his company so much.he was my big macho leader cousin....he always had some new joke to tell....the big chief was a classic and the bald headed man with the cigar....the fun of the summer was the trip to the rice field with my pops..he drove a little green thames van..we sat three abreast..we had bun n cheese and pepsi in a thermos..for lunch....and on friday a treat of 
 curry patty from somewhere in spanish town..had priceless fun walking in themuddy trenches doing all sorts of stupid fun things..god knows  ... those were good days...fast forward...swimming days...party days..beach days..on and on..folks. im hurting so bad...i know how sad it is...he wasalways so macho... i think i spoke to him about 3 weeks ago....i couldnt tell where he was physically or mentally..he was and always so strong and cool about everything..god bless him with that courage and strength..i wish i had some of that strength and courage...well my cousins...love you all...and be strong... as our  dearest  col is with the lord.....sorry..i cant make it up to jacksonville as im so sick...teddy
