Connie Elaine Fleming

Connie Elaine Fleming, age 58, passed away on September 27, 2017. She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Larry Fleming; her mother and father, Juanita Bell and Ed Bell Sr.; brother, Eddie Bell Jr. (Donna); sisters, Karen Cox, Julie Jones (Carl), Sandy Dodge (Clyde); sister-in-law, Beverly Fleming; son, CJ Fleming; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and other extended family. She was preceded in death by her aunt Catherine and uncle Ray Sanderson, and her mother- in-law, Lois M. Fleming.

Connie graduated from Baldwin Jr. – Sr. High School. She was a devoted and very dedicated employee of Aon Risk Services for 35 years. While employed at Aon Risk Services made many wonderful friends including Max and Delores. She loved children, and kept pictures of her coworkers’ children on a bookshelf in her office along with a big bowl of treats for when they would come to visit. Connie’s love for children pushed her to volunteer at Wolfsons Childrens Hospital . She also loved anything having to do with the outdoors, be it hiking up in the mountains or relaxing on the beach. Connie loved and cherished everyone that she met. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

The family will receive friends at Hardage-Giddens Edgewood Funeral Home, 729 Edgewood Avenue South, on Monday, October 2, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held at Lake Shore Baptist Church, 2365 Blanding Boulevard, on Tuesday, October 3 beginning at 11:00 am. Burial will be held later that day at Sellers Cemetery. HARDAGE-GIDDENS EDGEWOOD FUNERAL HOME, 729 Edgewood Avenue South, is serving the family. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Lakeshore Baptist Church, earmarked for the Florida Baptist Childrens’ Home fund.
