He graduated from UNC Charlotte with a degree in Business Management. David moved to the Saint Johns area from Statesville, NC in 1987. He was a manager of Vac-Com since 2004. David enjoyed spending time on the lake, the Appalachian Mountains, MG cars, fishing and listening to Bluegrass music.
David was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Diane Smuck. He is survived by his loving wife, Tina Gable; daughter, Lauren Elizabeth Gable; brother, Don Gable and granddaughter, Serenity Powell.
A Celebration of David’s life will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 4 p.m. in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin.
