Debra Marie Wright

She was born on June 11, 1956, in Sanford, Florida. Debra was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and woman of unwavering faith. She lived her life for the Lord, and her love for Him was evident in the way she cared for others. She was known for her generosity and for having one of the biggest, most loving, and giving hearts. If someone was in need, Debbie was the first to step in with compassion, encouragement, and support.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Terry Wayne Wright; her sons, Chad Wayne Wright and his wife, Holly Jessie Wright, and Derek Wayne Wright and his wife, Shannon Marie Wright. She was a proud and devoted "Mammaw" to Mason William Wright, Hunter Wayne Wright, Beckett Robert Wright, Rylee Marie Wright, and Elijah Jesse Wright, who were the absolute joys of her life. She is also survived by her sister, Patricia Lucille Laperriere and many extended family members and dear friends who were blessed by her love and friendship. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Margaret Petty, whom she cared for faithfully and tenderly in their final years.

Debra’s legacy is one of faith, generosity, and steadfast love. She leaves behind a family strengthened by her example and comforted by the assurance that she is now in the presence of her Lord and Savior.

A visitation will be held on February 25, 2026, at 11:00 am at Hardage - Giddens Greenlawn Funeral Home, located at 4300 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207.

The funeral service will follow at the same venue at 12:00 pm.

A committal service will take place at Greenlawn Cemetery, 4300 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207, at 1:00 pm on the same day.
