

Donald Joseph Boyle, 60, died Sunday, September 25, 2011 at home. He was the oldest of four children born to the late John Joseph Boyle and Dorothy Juanita Huelsman. Don was born in Fort Dix, New Jersey on January 3, 1951. He graduated from Assumption School, Bishop Kenny High School, and attended the University of Florida. In August of 1972 he began a 38 year career at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida. He also worked at H&R block for 16 years. Don was a long standing member of Assumption Catholic Church, a past member of the Parish Council and he was a Eucharistic minister prior to his illness. In addition he was a member of the Third Order of Franciscans.
He was preceded in death by his niece Kathleen Marie Dyal Garcia.
He is survived by his siblings and their spouses: Barbara Dyal, Joseph (Kimberly) Boyle and Patricia (Harold) Hines; beloved nieces and nephew: Jennifer Dyal, Alison Emry, Rosanna (Pablo) Cruz, Adam Hines and Sydney Boyle; great nieces and nephews: Nicole, Cailtyn and Emily Schreader, Tyler and Jordan Phillips, Autumn Emry, Juan Diego and Alejandro Cruz and great- great nephew Hayden Avery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm with a Vigil Service starting at 7pm Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at Hardage-Giddens Funeral home, 4115 Hendricks Ave. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at Assumption Catholic Church, with Father Fred Parke officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, if you desire please make donations to the Sisters of St. Joseph, St Augustine Florida or the Sisters of the Home of the Mother at Assumption Parish.
