Don was a wonderful friend and neighbor of ours. We walked around the neighborhood with him many times and we never ran out of great conversation. He told us so many stories and jokes and he had the best personality. When we had friends visiting and they walked with us, they always enjoyed visiting with Don and they always asked about Don when they called us. We will miss him!

Mr. Volk will be keenly missed for his profound kindness, great warmth and lively humor. We were very lucky to be neighbors and Don was as dear to us as family. We are so grateful for the gift of friendship we enjoyed with this remarkable man and there is an empty place left in our hearts with his loss. We share in your sadness but take great comfort in knowing that Mr. Volk is now up in heaven and we will all meet again. Our prayers are with you.
With our deepest sympathies,
Heather Robertson and Jeff Edwards
