Doris Lorraine Alexander Geoghagan

Doris Alexander Geoghagan stepped into eternity Sunday, December 6th, 2020 at the age of 91 years. Doris was a native of Jacksonville, FL where she grew up, married and raised her family. She spent her retirement years in Hilliard, FL where she passed peacefully at home.

She was a loving and beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She spent most of her working career as Personnel Manager at Unijax Envelope Company and leaves a legacy of many coworkers, friends and family that were blessed by knowing her. Doris taught Sunday School from young adulthood at East 44th Street Baptist Church through the age of 90 at First Baptist Church of Hilliard. Our world was certainly a better place because she was in it.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband Leroy Geoghagan and grandson Jackie Farhat. Also waiting in heaven for her are her parents Clara and Fleming Alexander, brother Pat Alexander and sister Jeannie Alexander. She leaves behind son Frank Geoghagan, grandson Josh (Danielle) and great granddaughters Janelle and Brielle, daughter Cyndi Schmidt, grandson Donald Edwards (Hannah) and granddaughter Dr. Sharon McCartney (Nick) and great grandchildren Abby, Cam and Carson. She also leaves behind youngest daughter Susan Farhat (Jack), grandsons Danny Geoghagan, Ian Farhat and David Farhat and great granddaughters Lexi, Caitlyn and Kristen Geoghagan.
