Dorothy E Barnett, born October 18, 1928, passed away peacefully and in the company of loved ones October 27, 2012. Widow to Bernard E Barnett Sr,A former member of The Knight of Columbus. She is proceeded in death by her Daughter, Mary Ellen Polanec and her parents C. Elizabeth Barr and Ernest Lofton Burch. Dorothy, the strongest and bravest among us. She selfishly devoted her life in the care of others. A retired Registered Nurse with thirty years of service to St Vincent's Medical Center. A Parishioner of Saint Matthew's Catholic Church for fifty years. She spent many years of her faithful life, donating her time and acts of giving to charities. Including Our Lady of the Angels and EWTN. A Mass in tribute of Dorothy will be held Friday, November 2, 2012 at 1 o'clock pm at St Matthews Catholic Church. 1773 Blanding Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32210. Three Brothers, Billy L Burch, Luther G Barr and Ronald R Barr. Her Grandchildren, Jennifer Payne, Valerie I Perazzo, Dorothy E Perazzo, Albert Anderson, Angela Rutty, Hunter Barnett, Heather Barnett, Michael Polanec, Jeffrey Polanec, Brittany Polanec, Nicole Neumann, Tyler Neumann and Morgan Kaminski. She was Great Grandmother to seven, Kyle and Kyrstne Payne, Benjamin Anderson, Ravin Barnett and Gavin Bunting, Raelynn Polanec and Leeland Polanec.
