Dorothy B. Decuers

Funeral services for Dorothy B. Decuers, 87, will be held at 11AM Thursday at Lakeshore Presbyterian Church, 2270 Blanding Blvd. Jax., FL with the Rev. McClean officiating. Burial will be at Jacksonville Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at 10:00 at the church prior to the service. A life-long resident of Jax., she retired from NAS JAX as Superintendent of Civilian Personnel Department. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, ABWA, and life-long member of Lakeshore Presbyterian Church. Survivors include her daughter, Lucy Shirah (John) of Lakeland Florida and her son, Herb Decuers (Liz) of Chapin, SC. Four grandchildren, Cherie Shirah Jones (Jeff), John Shirah (Lisa), both of Lakeland, Julie Decuers White (Jason) of Chapin, and Lauren Decuers of Atlanta, GA. Six great grandchildren, Scott and Shane Jones, Justin and Sara White, and Madalynn and Gracie Shirah. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Lakeshore Presbyterian Church.
