She was a kind, caring and giving person who always put the needs of her family and others before her own. She was a strong woman who faced every challenge in her life with courage, dignity, and strong faith in God. Our mother was a source of inspiration and strength to us all, and she will be dearly missed by everyone whose lives she touched.
She was passionate about sharing the love of our Lord with others and loved to harmonize in singing her favorite Christian songs. As loyal servants to God, Mom and Dad unconditionally supported many churches in the Philippines and anybody who needed their help. Mom used her gift in cooking Filipino foods to support weekly Bible studies which were often held in our home. Now that Mom has passed into the arms of our Lord, we should remind ourselves that while this is the end of her physical life on Earth, it is the beginning of a glorious eternity for her in Heaven.
Before migrating to the U.S., Mom worked in the Philippine Army until her early retirement. After moving to the U.S., she continued to work hard to support her family who are still in the Philippines. She was an active member and officer of the Filipino-American Senior Citizens Association of Northeast Florida.
Mom joins our Dad (Victorino) and our brother (Steve) in Heaven. She is survived by many loving family members including daughters Victoria (Kenneth Meyer), Edessa and Edelyn, son Jeff (Tess), and daughter-in-law Myra; grandchildren Bennet (Henry Aguilar), Stephen Meyer (Selma), Anna (Peter Cerreta), Kenny Meyer (Hannah), Grace Meyer and Eden Meyer, Tyrone Jobli, Alexis Jobli, Crystal Jobli, Precious Jobli, James Jobli, Jannica (Jerome Penacerrada), Camille (Vikko Muriel) and Hannah Jobli; and great grandchildren Benjamin, Nathaniel, Annabella, and Michael Cerreta; and Elias and Emerson Meyer; and grandpuppies Liam, Elsa, Bella, Benny, Oliver, and Winter Boy.
Mom, you will always be in our hearts and our memories with you will stay with us forever. We love you so much. Rest in peace in God’s loving arms.
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16)
