Edwin Aniel Aure

Edwin Aniel Aure, 56, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family in his final moments.

Born on November 28, 1969, in the Philippines, Edwin was the beloved son of Eudocio and Rose Aure. He carried the warmth and traditions of his heritage with him throughout his life. Edwin was a man of simple pleasures who found great joy in the digital worlds of video games and the quiet patience of a day spent fishing. Whether he was navigating a complex game or waiting for a catch, he approached his hobbies with a spirit of playfulness and dedication.

Edwin’s greatest legacy is his family. He is survived by his devoted parents, Eudocio and Rose Aure; his sisters, Amelia and Liza; and his brother, Alan. He was a proud uncle to his nieces, Delaney and Gianne, and a doting great-uncle to Evelyn, Nora, Freya, Isaiah, and Elijah, all of whom will miss his presence dearly.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a visitation to honor Edwin’s life:

• Time: 10:00 AM

• Location: Hardage-Giddens Oaklawn Chapel 4801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207

Interment: Following the service, Edwin will be laid to rest at Oaklawn Cemetery, located a short walk or drive from the chapel.
