Elizabeth Sue Osborne, age 83, passed away October 13, 2025, in Louisville, Kentucky. Elizabeth was born on June 2, 1942, in Gadsen, Alabama to Hobart Mckinley Howard and Edith Beryl (Smith) Howard. Elizabeth married David Martin Osborne, and together they raised 3 children, Sandra, Mark, and Todd. Elizabeth was a loved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, and will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.
Elizabeth is preceded in death by her parents, Hobart and Edith Howard; her husband, David Martin Osborne; one son, Mark Osborne; and her brother, Carl McKinley Howard. She is survived by her children Sandra Macy (Roger) and Todd H. Osborne; grandchildren Steven Patrick Kinnamon and Rachel E. Kinnamon; one great-grandchild, Steven John Coon; sister-in-law, Martha Howard; nephews, Mac and Zachary; niece, Deborah Lents; and a host of extended family members.
A visitation will be held at COREY-KERLIN FUNERAL HOME, located at 940 Cesery Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32211, on October 21, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
The funeral service will take place at Assumption Catholic Church, 2403 Atlantic Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207, on October 22, 2025 at 11:00 AM.
The committal service will be conducted at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32218, on October 22, 2025, from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm.
