

Esad Delic left this world on December 20, 2020 at the age of 71. He was born in Ugljara on May 18, 1949 to Dzenana Delic and Hasan Delic. After graduating high school and college, he proceeded to have a successful career as a mechanical engineer working as the Director of Toplana, Heating Plant in Bosanki Samac, Bosnia and Hercegovina. Esad met his wife of 47 years, Fadila Delic in 1967 and together they had 2 children, Damir and Lejla. He was a caring, husband, father, grandfather and friend. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Esad. He loved soccer and spent a lot of time volunteering at the local soccer club in Bosanski Samac. He loved to read, discuss politics and play poker with his close friends. Esad is survived by his loving wife Fadila, his children, Damir (Melanie) Delic and Lejla (Chris) Ziser, grandchildren Emina, Melina, Mehmed Fatih, Ajsa, Denis and many other family members. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Hardage-Giddens Oaklawn Funeral Home, 4801 San Jose Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32207 at 1:00pm. Graveside service to be held after the visitation at 2pm in Hardage-Giddens Oaklawn Cemetery. After the graveside service, the family will be having a gathering with refreshments at 2309 Longmont Lane East, Jacksonville, FL 32246.
