Ferdinand Delisle “Ezra” Holford was born on February 17, 1942, in St. Michael, Barbados. Ferdinand passed away peacefully at the age of 80. He is preceded in death by his mother Emmeline Drakes, mother of his daughter Thelma Greaves, his sister Corlene Drakes-Skeete, stepdaughter Winifred Delifus-Fields, his wife Ruth “Peaches” Delifus-Holford, and his companion dog, Max Holford.
Ferdinand leaves to cherish his memory: his daughter, Sonia Greaves-Reed (Dr. Curtis Reed), brothers Clevere Holford and George Drakes (Ingrid), 6 grandchildren, 6 great grand-children, best friends Donna Johnson and Braxton Edwards-Johnson, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Ferdinand was a beloved father, husband, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather and loyal friend. Ferdinand will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a humble man who forged his way, dedicated his life to God and family, and always looked out for others.
