

On December 25, 2014, our beloved mother, Fiona Mairi McNab, 77, left the binds of her physical body to be with her Heavenly Father. Fiona was born September 16, 1937 in Edinburgh, Scotland to the late Francis and Violet McNab. At the age of 18, she moved to Washington, D.C. with her mother and her younger sister, Victoria Jane, where she completed her education at the Washington Hospital Center, School of Nursing. She was a lifelong, dedicated nurse and caregiver in the realm of pediatric nursing, rehab nursing, and hospital administration. Later in life, she continued her education at Florida State College in the discipline of fine arts. She went on to teach art classes at the Mary Singleton Senior Center in Downtown Jacksonville for over 5 years. She loved art, music, and the company of her good friends at Wyndham Lakes Senior Living, where she also continued to teach art. Fiona is survived by her dog, Sally; three daughters, Mindy (Wade), Jennifer, Lisa (Jeff); a son, Carl (Julie); seven grandchildren, James, Ian, Luke, Graeme, Emily, Louie, and Molly. In addition, to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Anne and Victoria.
