Florence C. O’Neill, 92, passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 28, 2015. She was born in Nova Scotia, Canada. Florence served in WWII as a nurse in Japan. She was known and loved for her wit. Florence is preceded in death by her husband, Richard J. O’Neill. She is survived by her sister, Corinne Shea; along with numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors. A visitation will be held from 5:30-7:30pm on Wednesday, December 2, at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin. A Mass of Chrisitan Burial will be held Thursday, December 3, at St. Joseph’s Historical Catholic Church at 11am.
