Frank F. Pasquale, 94, of Jacksonville, Florida, formerly of Wood Ridge and Wayne, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2025. Born on April 25, 1930, in Hoboken, New Jersey, Frank lived a life defined by creativity, dedication, and an unwavering love for his family and community.
An entrepreneur and inventor, Frank had a passion for innovation and making a difference. As the owner of Spin Tech, he designed and manufactured exquisite candelabras and champagne fountains, which quickly gained recognition and were featured at White House dinners, Disney events, and other prestigious gatherings.
Frank proudly served in the U.S. Army, where he was a chef in the officers’ mess hall—the place where his love of cooking first began. He carried that passion throughout his life, always enjoying time in the kitchen. He was known for adding questionable ingredients to his recipes, much to the dismay and confusion of his family, who often wondered what exactly they were eating.
If you knew Frank, you knew he had "Frank-Isms." He started almost every story with “When I was in the Army...”and never missed a chance to impart his wise words and life lessons to those around him. Two of his favorite sayings were:
• “Know where you are, where you came from, and where you’re going.”
• “If I still had the shop….”
Frank also had a deep love for music and dancing and was known to dance with every woman he could. Whether at weddings, family gatherings, or just in the kitchen, he never passed up the chance to move to the music and share a dance.
Beyond his professional achievements and colorful storytelling, Frank was deeply committed to his community, serving for many years on the Wood Ridge School Board and Planning Board, always striving to create a better future for those around him.
On February 4, 1951, Frank married the love of his life, Josephine, and together they built a beautiful life centered around family. He is survived by his three children: Frank, James (Jennifer), and Carla (Robert); his seven grandchildren; Frank (Jennifer), Marielle (Ryan), Adrienne, Francesca (Tristan), Gil (Shira), Eric, and Gabrielle (Dan) and four great-grandchildren—all of whom will carry on his legacy of hard work, kindness, and perseverance. He is predeceased by his beloved wife, Josephine, and his grandson, Phillip.
Known affectionately as “Papa Frank", to everyone he met, he was a source of love, wisdom, and laughter to all who knew him. His warmth, generosity, love for dancing, and signature "Frank-Isms" will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those he touched.
Cremation will be private, and a Celebration of Life service will be held in New Jersey this spring to honor and remember Frank with family and friends.
