Fred A. Land, 72, passed away February 4th 2011 at St. Vincent's Medical Center, Jax, FL. He resided in Callahan Fl with his Son, Paul Richard Land. He was born in Macon GA. He enjoyed cooking, fishing, watching NASCAR. He is survived by 2 brothers, Robbie L. Land (Donna Land), Jax FL, Walter P Land, Florence South Carolina; Nephew, Tommy F Land Jr., Jax, FL and several Grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He will be missed dearly. The family visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Hardage-Giddens Edgewood Funeral Home, 729 S. Edgewood Ave., Jacksonville, FL 32205. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2011 at 11:00am, in the Chapel of Hardage-Giddens Edgewood Funeral Home, followed by the funeral procession to Jacksonville National Cemetery, Jacksonville, Fl. The United States Marines military burial honors will be held at 1:30pm, Jacksonville National Cemetery, Jacksonville, Florida.
