Gene Wilson Studstill

Gene Wilson Studstill, age 88, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on January 14, 2018. He was born March 6, 1929 in Lovett, Florida and grew up in Madison, Florida. He was a graduate of the University of Alabama. He was President of Beach Federal Savings and Loan and in his later years he was Executive Director with Westside Christian Outreach (WSCO). He was a long time member of Timuquana Country Club. He is survived by three children, Lee Carolyn Studstill, Sharon Studstill Romano, and Wilson Shaw Studstill (Penny); eight grandchildren, Dearing, Carolyn, Nancy, Sarah, Christina, Alexander, Emily, and Matthew; three great grandchildren, Daniel, Robert, and Elizabeth; sister, Libby Studstill Dickinson; and brother, Kenneth Avery Studstill (Charlotte). He was predeceased by his brother, John Lee Studstill.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 4129 Oxford Ave., Jacksonville, Florida, 32210.
