Gloria Ruff Larsen

Gloria Jean, daughter of Helen and Frank Ruff, was born on December 7, 1933. She and her beloved brother, Frank, grew up in the Murray Hill area of Jacksonville, Florida. After graduating from Robert E. Lee high school, she married Wesley Morgan and worked hard to raise her children with love and care. Gloria always loved children and acquired several "bonus" children she adored. Her professional career was spent with Florida Rock Industries for 30 years. She retired and married John T. Larsen, the love of her life on November 3, 1989. Together they enjoyed traveling America and the Caribbean. They both appreciated music and a good laugh so they loved visiting Branson, Missouri. Gloria was an active member of Murray Hill Methodist Church most of her life and enjoyed serving others.

Gloria is survived by her daughter, Peggy Collins (Dave), her son, Bradley Morgan (Linda), stepchildren, Patti O'Neal Lori Rauch (Ira), John Larsen, 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday December 7th at 11:00 a.m, at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd. Jacksonville, Florida.
