DONALD - Guy Harvey Donald, Jr. 63 passed away peacefully September 11, 2015 surrounded by family and lifelong friends.Guy was born August 5, 1952 and was a native of Jacksonville, FL. He was retired from a long career in Transportation and Logistics and was also a former Licensed Funeral Director. His interest was in his family and taking pride in their accomplishments, racing, especially dirt track and go-kart racing where he spent many years building and working on his own cars and those of his friends. Guy will be remembered as always smiling and making everyone laugh. Guy was preceded in death by his father Guy Harvey Donald Sr., son in law, Christopher (Chappy) Chaplin, mother in law, Louise B. Whatley, and brother in law, Omer Reece Whatley Jr. Guy is survived by his wife of 42 years Deborah Whatley Donald, daughters, Guylyn Donald Diamond (Matthew), Richmond, VA., Deanna Donald Hagemeyer (John) Jacksonville, FL., grandsons, Keller Chaplin and Liam Donald, mother, Dorothy Donald McAdams (Dennis) Jacksonville, FL and Anderson, SC, sister, Murell Donald Vilano Beach, FL and many other family members who were very dear to him. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32211 . The family will be receiving friends and family from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
