Harold Eugene Green Sr.

Harold E. Green, Sr. 85, passed away on November 6, 2025 surrounded by his family. He was born in St. Augustine, FL, the son of Forest Lester and Dorothy Helen Petty Green (Farnam) He was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother, cousin, uncle and friend.

He retired from The Bolles School after 20 years of dedication and service as a school bus driver. He was a member of Bartam Baptist Church. He was an avid Florida Gator fan and a 100 Gallon Blood Donor. 

He was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth “Betty” Stratton Green, his mother Dorothy Helen Petty Farnam, stepfather Harold Dave Farnam and sister,  Mary “Susan” Farnam Howard. He is survived by his daughter, Priscilla Green West (Mark), son, Harold E. Green, Jr., brother, William A. Green (Brenda) and brother, Charles E. Farnam (Gayle) along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, November 13th followed by the funeral service at 11 AM at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin, 11801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, Florida 32223, with Pastor Tom Tyer as Officiant. Private interment will be held at a later date. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Harold’s name to the Demetia Society, American Heart Association, or Vitas Hospice.
