Harry "Bud" E. Garrison Jr., 87, passed away in his home on January 1, 2017. Bud was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Helen and Harry E. Garrison, Sr. He graduated from Northeast High School in Philadelphia and later graduated from Haverford College in Pennsylvania. Bud then served two years in the Army. He was honorably discharged with a ranking of 2nd Lieutenant. Bud and wife, Joan then moved to Florida to teach and coach football at The Bolles School. While at Bolles he received his Master’s Degree at JU in history. Later, Bud was project head and data control manager at Gulf Life/American General. Bud’s personal passions were his family, playing golf, and watching Jaguars and Seminole Football. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan R. Garrison and daughter, Cynthia J. Garrison. He is survived by his son, Kenneth J. Garrison; grandson, Austin D. Garrison; and nephews, Gary and Bruce Weise. A Graveside Service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, January 25 in Mandarin Cemetery on Mandarin Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32223.
