HEDRICK-- Hazel L. Hedrick, 84, of Callahan passed away Sunday, April 24, 2011. She had lived in Jacksonville for all of her life before moving to Callahan 11 years ago. Even after retiring from Sears, Roebuck & Co. she continued her working career with Ned Jackson Income Tax Service. Mrs. Hedrick was affectionately known as “Nanny” to many and will be missed by all who knew her. She was predeceased by: her husband, William Leon Hedrick in 1997; her son, Tommy Hedrick in 1993; and her sister, Virginia Tyler in 2003. Surviving family includes: her daughter, Susan (Walter) Brown; her son, Bruce (Debbie) Hedrick; grandchildren, Chris Hedrick, David Hedrick, Misty (Mike) Roth, Dallas Hedrick, Krystle (Joe) Fooks, Katrina (Travis) Foures, Ryan (Julia) Brown, and Darin Hedrick; numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Ave. Tuesday (TODAY) from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 27 at 11:00 AM at Restlawn Memorial Park.
