Hester Will

WILL Hester Lorene Will, 87, passed away December 13, 2011. She was born in Lawtey, FL, and had been a resident of Jacksonville for more than 60 years. She worked for the IRS until the birth of her last child in 1959. She was also an active member of the Riverside Garden Club and a volunteer at both St. Matthews and Sacred Heart Catholic Schools where her children and grandchildren attended grade school. Mrs. Will is preceded in death by her son, Paul in 1951 and her daughter, Mary Lou in 2000. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, John Joseph Will, daughter, Lark Annette Will, grandsons, Craig and John Silver III, and great grandson, John Silver IV. The visitation will be Thursday, Dec. 15, from 6 until 8pm at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home at 5753 Blanding Blvd. The funeral service will be on Friday, Dec. 16 at 10am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church followed by interment at Riverside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Boys Town or Community Hospice Foundation.
