COSTNER.....Horace S. Costner, 89, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2013. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Juanita Costner. Mr. Costner retired from the U. S. Navy after 21 1/2 years of service. He was easy going, hardworking and had a deep love for his wife and family. He quietly loved the Lord and treated people in a kind way mixed with his unique sense of humor. Mr. Costner was predeceased by his son, James "Tim" Costner. In addition to his wife, he is survived by Tim's widow, Marsha (Richard Parrish); grandchildren, Erica VanMatre (Robert), Amanda Burke (Eric, Sr.), and James T. Costner, Jr.; great grandchildren, Eric Burke, Jr., Peyton VanMatre, and Raymond VanMatre; and other family and friends. Mr. Costner's Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m Saturday, August 17th at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the start of the service. Burial will follow the service in Arlington Park Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
