Hunter Starling

Hunter Michael Starling, born November 10, 1992 in Jacksonville Fl. passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2016. He is survived by his parents, Michael and Crystal Starling and his sister Lindsey; paternal grandparents Robert E. “Pete” and Elaine Starling; maternal grandparents William and Phyllis Lovelace and also Angela Parsons and her late husband, A. Ray Parsons.

Hunter loved his family, friends and his dog “Z” deeply. Above all else he adored his mother, father and sister, Lindsey. He was loyal and had a beautiful and kind heart. Hunter was adventurous and loved hiking the Appalachian trail, camping, fishing, and most especially the mountains and waterfalls of North Carolina. He was a soccer player, skateboarder and all-around athlete. Hunter gave wonderful bear hugs and had an infectious laugh. He loved his job and the people he worked with and they loved his cool demeanor. He was always there to just joke around and would do whatever he could to help people. He will be missed by many.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday December 22, 2016 at 11am St Paul’s Catholic Church, 2609 Park St Jacksonville Fl. 32204. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting contributions to the Hunter Starling Memorial Fund at Vystar Credit Union. Arrangements entrusted to Hardage Giddens 729 S Edgewood Ave Jax. Fl 32205.
