She began working for Prudential Insurance Company in 1956 and retired after 32 years of service. During this time, she met and married Neal E. Morgan and enjoyed 63 years of marriage together.
After retirement, she devoted her time and attention to her family, her many friends, and her church, First Baptist Church of Jacksonville, Florida.
Jackie is survived by her husband, Neal E. Morgan; two sons, Michael Morgan and Richard Morgan both of Jacksonville; her sister, Margaret Wood (Ervin) of Valdosta, Ga.; two brothers, Skip Richards (Susan) of Charleston, SC and Jim Richards of Nashville, Ga., and numerous nieces, nephews and their families, including her “adopted” granddaughters, Holly Valdes and Lindsay Ford (Gentry).
