James was a longtime resident and business community member of Jacksonville, Florida. A brother, father and grandfather, Jimmy, will be deeply missed. James was married to Peggy Foley Chupp, deceased, for 30 years. His longtime companion, Judy Gibson, deceased, was alongside him for 20 years.
James is survived by his daughter, Suzanne Chupp Bijur; five Grandchildren: Lauren Naomi, Christina Naomi, EJ Bijur, James Merrill Chupp IV, Justin Chupp. He is preceded in death by his son James Merrill Chupp III.
There will be a Graveside Memorial Service September 17, 2022 at 11am at Hardage-Giddens Oaklawn Cemetery, 4801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207 (904) 737-7171.
