I still love you and miss you Jimmy..FORE!

Jim and I grew up in the same neighborhood of Sky Lake, and went to the same schools, Lancaster Elementary and Walker Jr High.

We remained friends throughout our time in school together.  We were in Art Class together in ninth grade.  We made up nicknames for each other.  His was Pando, pronounced Pan-DOE, inspired by Vincent Van Gogh.

We also shared a fondness for the weekly TV show called Kung Fu.  We would remind each other to watch "The Kung", as we called it.  The next day in class, we would talk about the episode and how cool David Carradine was as the starring character, Kwai Chang Caine.
Jim was a good guy to know.

I hope we meet again in Christ's glory.

I also had a crush on Jim's sister, Nancy.  But I was too shy to tell her.

We attended the same schools.  Our favorite class we had together was Art Class at Walker Jr High.  We joked about being famous artists and what our names would be.  Jim became known as James Pan Dogh or Pan Gogh, as in Vincent Van Gogh.

Jim also loved watching the show, Kung Fu on Thursday nights.  We would spend the entire time in Art class the next day talking about Kung Fu, which we called "The Kung".

Jim was a good guy who had a great sense of humor.  I'm sorry that I lost touch with him and his beautiful sister, Nancy.

Jimmy was a true friend and golf pal. We talked college football and sports every week I will miss him terribly

Jimmy,  with tears in my eyes, thank you for your friendship for over 45 years.  You are and always will be, my bestie.  Thank you Jimmy for all the good times, your infectious smile, your great cooking and every memory that will always have a place in my heart...  We played together, we worked together, we lived together, we partied together, we laughed together and  we did some things together that I wish we wouldn't have.    But it was part of our lives and I'm so going to miss you.  I love you Jimmy Pando. 

I honor and admire the foundation you and Tracy together built under 2 fine children - Tristian and Shelby.    I was so happy that you got to walk your beautiful daughter down the aisle in her marriage to a young man you spoke so highly of, Kyle.   Your travel adventures with the kids to the west last year will undoubtedly leave lasting and cherished memories for all.   

I know God has plans for you - earlier than any of us would have ever expected but He needed you as his highest flying angel.

Goodbye for now Jimmy.   Tell Bernie hello.   You guys are together again, along with your Mom and Dad.

Jimmy and I were long time friends of over forty  years! He was like a brother to me! We worked together at Publix years ago at the old Food World in Rockledge while he was still in college. we stayed in touch all these years! Laughed a lot! Teased each other a lot! Went out west hiking a couple of times ,played a lot of golf together! Talked on the phone a lot!we both made an effort to stay in touch and I will miss him! God bless Jimmy Pando!

Jim welcomed our family as his own when our son, Kyle married Shelby.  Jim was a great cook and loved to share his meals with others. It was obvious how much he loved his children and family! He will be missed by many!

So sorry for your lose.  The Pando family means so much to me and my heart hurts for everyone in the family.  I have known the Pando's since I was 10 years old and I have lots of memories.  One that stands out about Jimmy is that he taught me how to drive a stick shift and was that an experience for both of us.  I hope that all the memories of Jimmy will give everyone comfort at this time.   May he rest in peace.
