Jean Kelley Parrish, age 76, passed peacefully on Wednesday, February 4th, 2015. She was born July 6, 1938 in Hopewell, Virginia and raised in Tallahassee, Florida. Jean had a childhood rich in faith, family and friends. She became a remarkably loving wife, mother and grandmother. With irrepressible passion she lived a life given to Christian faith, family, friends, community and country.
Jean was predeceased by her husband, Glenn E. Parrish, Sr.; her parents, M.J. and Rozzie Kelley; and her three brothers, Herbert, Arthur and William Kelley. She is survived by her sister, Annie Herndon; son, Edward (Sarah); daughter, Kelley; grandchildren, Casey, Bryce, Austin and Alex; and many other family members.
A memorial service will be held at the Leonora Garden pavillion in Oaklawn Cemetery, 4801 San Jose Blvd., Jacksonville, on Saturday, February 7th at One o'clock pm.
