Jennie M. Breese

Mom was a gentle, kind soul someone who was always there to talk and help no matter what the situation was and ask nothing in return. We, your family, will miss you greatly.

Mom was preceded in death by her parents, Simmons and Annie Lee, husband Harold M. Breese, son Wayne Breese and brother, Wilfred Lee. Mom is survived by her daughter Lynn McDonald and five grandchildren, Lisa McDonald, Mike McDonald (Ellen) Kevin Breese, Donna Gentzel (Richard) and Kenneth Breese. She also leaves four great –grandchildren, Michael McDonald, Jaime McDonald, Travis Breese and Myranda Breese.

Her hands were never idle. She enjoyed cooking for her family working the yard and embroidering. She loved to bake at Christmas and always made sure everyone had a tray of cookies. She enjoyed Southern Gospel Music and Church services on Sunday morning when she could no longer attend church.

Mom was a member of Woodstock Park Baptist Church for most of her life upon moving to Orange Park moved her membership to First Baptist Church in Orange Park. She was a member of the Woodstock Park Chapter 270 OES and a life member of St. Vincent’s Medical Center Volunteer Auxiliary.

Services will be held at the Hardage- Giddens Funeral Home Edgewood Chapel on Friday, November 4, 2011 at 2:30pm, conducted by, Pastor David Tarkington followed by a burial service at Riverside Memorial Park. Arrangements entrusted to: Hardage- Giddens Funeral Home Edgewood Chapel ( 904) 388-2711.
