Jo Ann Walker

Jo Ann (Ellis) Walker of Jacksonville and Key West, Florida (formerly of Elgin, Illinois and Rochester, New York) passed quietly from this life to be with the Lord on October 30, 2019. Jo Ann was born in Port Huron, Michigan on March 23, 1952 as the eldest child of Gavin W. and Donna (Rabidue) Ellis.

She is survived by Robert H, Walker, her loving and devoted husband of 38 years. Preceded in death by her parents and her infant daughter Jennifer Ann, she is survived by her son David W. Erbe of Jacksonville, Florida and grandchildren Logan, Katelyn and Zachary; Jennifer’s twin sister Laura and her husband William Tudor and grandchildren Kayde and Sarah of Homewood, Alabama; and daughter Miranda E. Walker of Orlando, Florida. She is also survived by her younger brothers Rev. Fred A. & Beverly, Keith B. & Julie, and Thomas H. Ellis. We will celebrate Jo Ann’s Life and all that she means to us with a service at 2:oo pm on Thursday, November 7, 2019 in the chapel of San Jose Church of Christ located at 6233 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville FL. 32217

In lieu of flowers, fruit baskets or casseroles, Jo Ann has requested that donations be made in her name to the Baptist Health Foundation or Community Hospice.
