I worked with Joan in the early 1980s. She welcomed me with open arms. I am so sorry for your loss.

I just learned tonight of Joan's passing.  She was one of my first friends when I moved to Jacksonville in 1979.  I met her at job in a law firm.  She was a lovely soul.   She and my husband shared a birthday, and she called him every year for 30 years to sing with him.  She was a bright and shining jewel.  We will miss her.  Love to her beautiful family.

Joan was a special person in my life.  I will truly miss her.

We will miss your Mom! We loved her coming and spending Thanksgiving with us when she could! She would always bring us that wonderful candy! She was a special lady! It is our loss but Heaven's gain. Love to all the family!  Ken and Linda Williams and family

I met Joan a few years back at one of the British American Club monthly Sunday lunches.  My fondest memory of Joan is listening to her recite (without a pause) The Lion and Albert by Marriott Edgar with appropriate accent.  It was wonderful, amazing, and took me straight back to my childhood.  Thank you for such a good memory Joan. R.I.P.

Sister Ann I just realized your mom is my publix customer i loved so much.I am so very sorry.She was such a very lovely and cultured LADY.I truly am shocked and very sad now that i know she died.I wish the Lord's comfort to you all.I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.Again i am so truly sorry.
