John "J.H." Henry Winburn Jr.

He married Ethel May Hughes (Sue) April 28, 1955. He was a loving husband and wonderful father to Terry Dale Winburn, Jerry Hale Winburn (Peggy) Larry, Kale Winburn (Anne) Sherry Gale Winburn Layne (Greg).

John served in the Navy for four years and worked at Peninsula pest control for 40 years.

They had five grandchildren. Amber Mizel, Lindsay, Stevens, Daniel Winburn, Christopher Winburn, and Hunter Hayes. They have six great grands. Fallon, Naomi, Preston, Bennett, Weston, and Sutton. John also had many nieces and nephews that he loved very much. He also had a little dog named Zoey that thought he hung the moon.

John was preceded in death by his son, Terry Dale Winburn, his parents, John, Henry Winburn, Sr, and Nancy, Clark Winburn, his siblings Ermie, Carl, Fate, CB, Charlie, Margaret, Ada, Etta, Helen and Kate.

A visitation for J.H. will be held Thursday, February 22, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM in Hardage - Giddens Greenlawn Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4300 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207. The funeral service will occur Thursday, February 22, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, in Hardage-Giddens Greenlawn Funeral Home. The committal service will occur immediately after in Greenlawn Cemetery, 4300 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207.
