Jorge Tulio Vargas Gutierrez

He was preceded in death by his parents Jose Angel Vargas and Rosa Tulia Gutierrez de Vargas, his brothers Alvaro and Hernando Vargas and granddaughter Gabriella Cratem.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 62 years Ana Beatriz and their 3 children; Libia Vargas, Jorge Vargas (Claudia), and Diana Cratem (Tom) as well as 9 grandchildren Paola Vargas, Laura Vargas, Sara Paz, Daniel Paz, Isabella Cratem, Sophie Cratem, Thomas Cratem, and Julianna Cratem.

He was an educator and loved to travel with his family. He enjoyed celebrations, llanera music, mariachi bands and dancing. He believed that life was a celebration and that it needed to be lived to the fullest. He was a man of great faith in God. He touched many lives with his desire of providing education for all the people he met.

Visitation will be held at San Jose Catholic Church on Saturday May 6th at 12:30 pm in the Guadalupe Chapel followed by the Holy Funeral Mass at 1 pm in the main church. A private burial service will be held following the Mass for the immediate family.

A el lo preceden en muerte sus padres Jose Angel Vargas y Rosa Tulia Gutierrez de Vargas, sus hermanos Alvaro y Hernando Vargas y nieta Gabriella Cratem.

El deja atras su esposa amada de 62 anos, Ana Beatiz, y tres hijos Libia Vargas, Jorge Vargas (Claudia), y Diana Cratem (Tom) y nueve nietos Paola Vargas, Laura Vargas, Sarah Paz, Daniel Paz, Isabella Cratem, Sophie Cratem, Thomas Cratem, and Julianna Cratem.

El fue un educator y disfrutaba viajar con su familia, el disfrutaba las celebraciones, la musica llanera, los mariachis y el baile. El creia que la vida era una celebracion y necesitata vivirla plenamente. El toco muchas vidas con su deseo de educacion para el progreso de todos.

La velacion sera en iglesia Catolica San Jose el Sabada Mayo 6 a las 12:30, la misa a la 1 pm seguido por el funeral privado.
