Joshua was a big and bold personality, someone whose presence was instantly felt and never forgotten. He lived with a strong spirit and an open heart, forming deep and meaningful connections with those around him. Whether through laughter, conversation, music, or quiet moments of reflection, Joshua had a way of making people feel seen and valued. Family was at the center of his life, and his loyalty and love for those closest to him were unwavering.
He was a devoted son and brother whose presence brought comfort, humor, and strength. Joshua shared a close and meaningful bond with his family, especially his beloved mother, Sandra Noreen Lasky, who remained a constant source of love and support throughout his life.
Joshua had a deep love for nature and found peace in music. He was drawn to the beauty of the natural world and felt most at ease surrounded by it. Music was a constant companion in his life. An outlet, a comfort, and a reflection of his soul. He also had a special affection for animals, treating them with gentleness and compassion, a true reflection of the kindness and authenticity that defined him.
Joshua is survived by his loving mother, Sandra Noreen Lasky; his brother, Brandon Lloyd Lasky; his sister-in-law, Judith E. Lasky; and his aunt, Pam, along with extended family members and loved ones who will carry his memory forward in their hearts.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kevin Lee Lasky, and his beloved grandparents, Beverly Howard and Michael Howard.
Joshua will be laid to rest in the mountains of Tennessee, alongside his beloved grandparents and Father. A place of peace, beauty, and quiet strength, fitting for someone who found comfort and meaning in nature.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered prayers, love, and compassion during this incredibly difficult time.
“You were my brother, my constant, and my other half. I will carry you with me in everything I do, until we meet again.”
Brandon
“Fly free, sweet blackbird. Your bold spirit, your love for this world, and the music you carried within you will forever echo in our hearts.”
