Katherine Musselman, daughter of Dianna Motel and James Musselman, was born on November 28, 1992. She passed away surrounded by family on May 16, 2024 in Jacksonville, Florida. She was survived by her mother Dianna, her stepfather Robert, her sisters Heather and Rachel, and her brother Tyler.
She attended Appalachian State with the intentions of pursuing a degree in Psychology, but discovered she yearned for helping others in a different capacity. She switched her major and graduated with her Masters in Social Work from Walden University in 2020.
She worked tirelessly at Gateway Community Services and always found joy in helping others get back on their feet.
When Katie wasn't busy with work, she enjoyed crafting, shopping, eating Mexican food, spending time with her niece and nephew, and binge-watching trash TV shows. Her knack for finding the most ridiculous reality shows always brought a smile to her face.
She was a free spirit who lived life to the fullest, always making sure to find the humor in every situation. And you always knew when she found something funny because you could hear her laugh from a mile away.
Her infectious laughter and kind heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
May she continue to bring joy and laughter to those in the afterlife as she walks alongside her Daddy.
Rest in peace.
A Celebration of Life will be held on May 25th 2024 1pm-4pm In The Clubhouse at 426 Resort Way,
Saint Augustine FL 32084
